Caring for Aging Parents
Nearly one out of four Americans has had the responsibility of caring for an aging parent by taking them into their homes, or by paying for their care.
While a large number of people are involved in care for their aging parents, even more are worried about it. Two thirds of Americans are concerned about the care their parents will receive as they age, and whether they'll be financially responsible for providing care. That concern dominates people who are 45 and younger.
To help meet those concerns, WWJ Newsradio 950 has launched "Caring for Aging Parents", an on-line resource center for those concerned about preparing or answering the need of a parent facing a health concern, undergoing changes in their economic situation, or who are dealing with the aftermath of a prolonged illness or death.
Choose a category at left and click the button to find articles, advice and links to information, services and organizations that can help you along the way.
As this resource center expands and grows, we invite your feedback and participation, and encourage you to contact us with any suggestions, concerns, or proposals.
