Southwest Michigan firm says it's ready to deliver wind components
Ed Gourlay of K&M Machine Fabricating Inc. of Cassopolis has responded about recent stories regarding Michigan's attempts to land a wind turbine manufacturer.
He says K&M has been machining major wind turbine components for various turbine manufacturers for years now, and can handle the 20-ton weight of the main support frame castings for really big generators.
The company has more than 200 employees and more than 250,000 square feet of manufacturing space in Southwest Lower Michigan. More at http://www.k-mm.com/.
