Salute to America
Thank you for joining us at Greenfield Village on Friday, July 3rd for the 17th Annual Salute to America.Greenfield Village was transformed into a patriotic sea of red, white and blue as the Detroit Symphony Orchestra presented a rousing program of American musical favorites in celebration of Independence Day with WWJ am anchor Joe Donovan as we celebrated the troops.

WWJ Newsradio 950 hosted "Laptop Lunch: Social Networking Series" on Tuesday June 23rd at Mr. B's Pub in Royal Oak. Business owners and marketers learned about proven methods for using Social Media in their marketing mix. 
The Business Case for Going Green
WWJ Newsradio 950 hosted "The Business Case for Going Green" Business Breakfast, in conjunction with the Engineering Society of Detroit on June 1 at Cobo Conference Center.  The Breakfast was held in conjunction with the Greening the Heartland Conference.
Race for the Cure
WWJ was a proud sponsor of the 18th Annual Susan B. Komen Race for the Cure/Detroit on Saturday, May 30, 2009.  Thousands of people from all walks of life gathered at Comerica Park in a spirit of love and victory to strike a blow at breast cancer and make the streets of Midtown Detroit shine with our determination, diversity and generosity. Eastern Market Flower Day 2009
More than 150,000 people attended the 2009 Flower Day at the Eastern Market. Over 15-acres of annuals, perennials, foliage, shrubbery, trees, exotics, tropical plants, flats and hanging baskets were available. WWJ staffers were on hand with balloons  andonsite activies for attendees.  Enjoy a few photos from the event.
