Walsh College Expands Community College Partnerships

College students on the fast track to completing their education have even more options available to them thanks to Walsh College and its new partnerships with three community colleges.

Walsh College now has Honors Fast Track partnerships with Montcalm Community College in Sidney; St. Clair College in Windsor, Canada; and St. Clair County Community College in Port Huron.

Honors Fast Track allows Walsh community college partner students to complete their associate’s, Walsh Bachelor of Business Administration and Master of Business Administration degrees in five years, versus the traditional six. The new partnerships are effective with the fall 2009 semester. Recruiting and express admissions begin in August.

The agreement with St. Clair County Community College specifies Walsh College as its exclusive business education partner. SC4 students can take courses toward Walsh Bachelor of Accountancy and Bachelor of Business Administration in Management degrees. They also can enter the Honors Fast Track program and work toward BBA and MBA degrees.

The partnership with Montcalm Community College in Sidney enables Montcalm students to smoothly transfer up to 82 credits to Walsh College toward a Bachelor of Business Administration, Bachelor of Accountancy or Bachelor of Science in Business Information Technology. They also signed the Honors Fast Track partnership agreement.

Walsh College also is pleased to announce its new international community college Honors Fast Track partnership with Windsor’s St. Clair College.  St. Clair students can transfer up to 82 credits toward a Walsh Bachelor of Business Administration, Bachelor of Business Administration, Bachelor of Accountancy or Bachelor of Science in Business Information Technology.  They are also eligible to enroll in the Honors Fast Track program.

Walsh College, founded in 1922, is Michigan’s largest graduate business college. The private, independent, non-profit College offers upper-division bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral business education programs to 4,600 students in Troy, Novi, Clinton Township, Harper Woods, and Port Huron, as well as online.
