Gas Prices Inch Upward



Dearborn (WWJ)  -- AAA Michigan said Monday that gas prices increased 2.4 cents per gallon across the state.

The current statewide average is $2.641, which is $1.546 per gallon lower than last year at this time.

And while gas is up statewide, the average for self-serve regular is down four-tenths of a cent in Metro Detroit over the past week, settling at $2.602 per gallon.
