Grid4 Supports Special Olympics of Michigan

Grid4 Communications was one of the top sponsors at Real Estate One 5th Annual Screen Door Open ‘fore’ Special Olympics Michigan this month. The golf outing is Real Estate One Charitable Foundation’s largest annual fundraiser and the net proceeds go directly to Special Olympics Michigan.

“On behalf of the Real Estate One Charitable Foundation and Special Olympics of Michigan, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Grid4 Communications for their tremendous support of Special Olympics," said Stuart Elsea, president of financial services at Real Estate One. "Grid4 generously sponsored our ‘Polar Plunge’ and ‘Screen Door Open’ golf outing. As a result of this support, Special Olympics is able to truly change lives by providing sports training and athletic competition for over 17,000 children and adults with intellectual disabilities throughout the state of Michigan.”

Special Olympics Michigan provides sport training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic type sports for the children and adults with intellectual disabilities who live in our state. Athletes are given continuing responsibilities to develop physical fitness; demonstrate courage; experience joy; and participate in sharing of gifts, skills, and friendship with their families, other Special Olympic athletes, and the community.

Grid4 Communications is a facilities-based IP Communications Services Provider headquartered in Troy.  Among the Grid4 Services is an advanced and comprehensive portfolio of IP voice, high-speed dedicated internet access, private data networking services, unified communications, hosted IP PBX, security and managed systems for business.
