Compuware Road Show To Show Off Vantage Software

Detroit-based Compuware Corp. (Nasdaq: CPWR) Wednesday  announced a global road show to help IT organizations improve the performance of their critical business applications.

Attendees will learn about new approaches for managing application performance in increasingly complex environments involving multi-tier applications, cloud computing, virtualization and service-oriented architectures.

The road show will highlight Vantage 11, Compuware's flagship IT Service Management system. Compuware will kick off the tour with demonstrations at the Gartner Infrastructure, Operations and Management Summit in Orlando, Florida this week.

Compuware says Vantage 11 is a major advance in end-to-end application performance management. This new release brings together proactive issue identification and quantification of business impact and problem resolution into a single solution. Vantage 11 provides a top-down approach to IT service delivery that starts from the end user perspective and transforms how IT organizations deliver application performance to their customers.

"Using Compuware solutions, BT Global Services has delivered Application Performance Management to its customers as part of BT's Applications Assured Infrastructure portfolio," said Daniel Poulter, senior marketing manager at BT Global Services. "Many customers have looked to BT to help them meet service standards such as ITIL (The Information Technology Infrastructure Library) and Six Sigma. Compuware's Vantage 11 will help meet these standards by unifying critical aspects of application performance, end user experience and business service management into one solution and BT has selected this technology to help meet its customer's needs in this area."

Attendees at the Gartner IOM Summit will get a sneak peak of Vantage 11 at booth 4. Compuware representatives will demonstrate the new solution and how it addresses one of the biggest issues for IT organizations, the rapid identification and resolution of application performance issues.

Following the Gartner conference, the tour will visit a number of cities globally, including Los Angeles, Atlanta, Chicago, Buenos Aries, Sao Paulo, Mumbai, Singapore, Hong Kong, Sydney, Stockholm, Paris, Amsterdam and London.

"We look forward to sharing the excitement of Vantage 11 with IT organizations around the world to help them address their most pressing challenges," said Steve Tack, vice president for IT Service Management for Compuware. "Vantage 11 is an exciting solution and the center piece of Compuware's Business Service Delivery strategy. Managing applications from the end user's perspective is essential to this approach and to optimizing end-to-end application performance so that IT can keep its promises to the business."
