Truck Driver Hurt in M-14 Crash

Ann Arbor (WWJ)  -- An accident near Ann Arbor Tuesday morning sent a truck driver to the hospital and closed part of M-14 near Ann Arbor trail and US-23.

Michigan State Police trooper Kevin Curtis told WWJ that the semi lost control, crashed thru a guardrail, and went down a 30-foot embankment.

"There apparently may have been another vehicle involved that he either swerved and missed or they cut him off or something along those lines.  So we're going to have to figure that out," he said.

The truck driver was taken to the University of Michigan hospital for treatment.  The road was reopened before 6 a.m.
