Patriot Services promotes Scott Baker: Walled Lake-based Patriot Services Corp. announced this week that Scott A. Baker has been promoted to director of public health and emergency management programs. In his new role, Baker will oversee client services and business development programs for the company’s public health and health care clients and traditional emergency management and preparedness services projects. Baker brings nearly 18 years of personal and business experience from the public and private sectors. Patriot Services provides homeland security and emergency preparedness services nationwide. Ecology Coatings names new board member: Auburn Hills-based Ecology Coatings Inc. (OTC: ECOC), a developer of nanotechnology-based ultraviolet curable coatings, has named Joseph Nirta a board director. The addition expands the Ecology Coatings Board to four members. Nirta was the co-founder of BondExchange LLC and BondDesk Group LLC. The electronic bond trading platform created by Nirta revolutionized the online bond trading market. The BondDesk LLC software platform reported record trades of 1.3 million for the first quarter of 2008. Nirta served as the company's CIO and a board member for nine years.
