Jay Z To Perform At Voter Registration Rally



Southfield (WWJ)  -- With Michigan's voter registration deadline approaching, award-winning singer Jay-Z will headline a Saturday rally and concert at Cobo Arena. 

The seven-time Grammy Award-winning recording artist will perform for free.  Jay-Z will promote voter registration and encourage young people to get involved with the Obama campaign.  

Voters must register by Monday, October 6, to be eligible to vote in the November 4th election. 

People who want to attend the concert and rally can each pick up one free ticket to the concert at Obama campaign offices throughout southeast Michigan.  

You must be 18 to attend this concert which begins at 8:30 p.m. at Cobo Arena.  Doors will open at 7 p.m.
