Vaccines Available To Public At DHM
Both H1N1 Flu and seasonal Flu vaccinations are now available at Doctors’ Hospital of Michigan’s “Flu Minute Clinic,” open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. on a walk-in basis. There is an administration fee of $20. The clinic is part of the Family Medicine Center, 461 West Huron St. in the Seminole Center building, Pontiac. Open while supplies last.

Detroit Department of Health Flu Clinics
The Detroit Department of Health and Wellness Promotion will offer flu shots at various locations in Detroit through Thursday, Dec. 3.

Wayne County Department Of Public Health
Clinics in Redford, Taylor and Wayne are offering sesonal flu vaccinations this year. All three locations offer vaccines by appointment and the Taylor and Wayne clinics will have walk-in availabily in Mondays and Thursdays. The price is $10. For more information, click on the title above.

Kroger Pharmacy Flu Shots
Kroger’s certified immunizing pharmacists will begin administering the flu vaccine beginning in September at a cost of $24.99, with no appointment necessary. Walgreens Pharmacies Offer Flu Shots
Walgreens immunization certified pharmacists will be administering flu shots at participating pharmacies during regular business hours. Walgreens will also be hosting flu clinics in which a certified pharmacist will solely be providing flu vaccinations on specific dates/times within the store. Target announced that flu vaccinations will be available beginning in October at Target Pharmacy locations nationwide. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends nearly everyone protect themselves against this potentially serious illness.
