Black Mag: Ann Arbor Among Best Retiree Cities

Ann Arbor (AP)  -- An African American business magazine says Ann Arbor is a great place to retire.

Black Enterprise says the University of Michigan campus town is one of the seven best places in America for retirees.

The other top locations are Durham, North Carolina; Charlottesville, Virginia; Nashville, Tennessee; Lexington, Kentucky; Roswell, Georgia; and Columbia, Missouri.

The rankings gave 40 percent of the score for quality of life, 20 percent for health care, and 15 percent each for taxes and leisure.

Climate and culture got 5 percent each.
