Showing Off MotorCity Casino

Detroit (WWJ)  -- After three-years and 300-million dollars, Detroit's MotorCity Casino is ready to unveil its new look to the world.

WWJ's Ron Dewey toured the new dining, gaming, and entertainment venue which includes a new 18-hundred seat live entertainment theater.

The permanent casino on Grand River Avenue just off the Lodge Freeway is home to seven bars, seven restaurants and 400 hotel rooms.

Chief Operating Officer Rhonda Cohen says they are targeting business and leisure travelers.

Ads featuring the casino are running throughout the midwest, including Chicago.

Executives say if things go as planned a second tower with 700 hotel rooms could be built.
