Local Man Vying for 'Amazing Race' Crown



West Bloomfield (WWJ)  -- A Michigan man is lining up to take part in the new season of CBS'  "The Amazing Race."

Ty White, a 25-year-old West Bloomfield banker, is on the upcoming 13th edition of the show.  Other teams hurrying for the finish line and the one million dollar grand prize include an ex-NFL player and his estranged wife, a former Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader and her actor brother, a pair of Southern Belles, and fraternity brothers. 

The "Amazing Race" premieres Sunday, September 28th and will follow the teams as they travel 30,000 miles in 23 days around the globe.
