Southfield (WWJ) -- The field for next week's 90th PGA Championship at Oakland Hills will include former PGA Championship champions Phil Mickelson, Vijay Singh and Davis Love III along with fan favorite John Daly and a couple golfers from northern Michigan.
Tiger Woods won't play in the tournament which starts August 7th at Oakland Hills Country Club in Bloomfield Township. Woods is recovering from surgery.

Fans can pick up merchandise beginning Saturday. A 30,000-plus-sq.-ft. PGA Championship Golf Shop will open to the public this weekend. Doors will be open from 9 a.m. til 6 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday.
A Championship ticket is not required to gain entry to the shop. Parking is free at the Bingham Office Park located at 30400 Telegraph Road. All fans must park at the office park where a free shuttle will take visitors to Oakland Hills Country Club.
The Wanamaker Trophy, one of sports' most treasured pieces of memorabilia will be on display inside the Golf Shop and the first 500 guests each day will receive a free limited edition 90th PGA Championship golf towel.
