DesignHub Inc., a creative services and marketing firm based in Saline, has designed and developed the new Web site for Chelsea Community Hospital Health & Wellness Center.
DesignHub previously designed and developed the Health & Wellness Center’s original Web site. The center again chose DesignHub to redesign the site, largely to provide a new content management system, which makes it easier for the client to make day-to-day updates to the Web site’s content.
The new site highlights the Health & Wellness Center’s member services, programs, classes, and upcoming events. Visitors can click on listings in the site’s online events calendar to get details on the center’s specific offerings within pop-up windows.
The site’s programs and events content -- plus customer testimonials -- are database-driven. Pages are dynamically generated based on the site visitor’s requested information about programs and events.
Site visitors can also download the center’s member handbook and complete class schedule as PDF files.
A highlight of the new site is a slideshow taking visitors on an online tour of the Health & Wellness Center. A detailed floor plan shows the center’s layout.
Visitors to the site learn of the Health & Wellness Center’s fitness, personal training, massage, and children’s programs, as well as medically integrated services in fitness assessment, nutritional counseling, orthopedic care, and physical and occupational therapy. The center’s personal trainers and massage therapists are profiled. Site visitors can submit fitness questions via email and a trainer will personally respond.
Other features of the new site enable visitors to sign up for regular email updates on the Health & Wellness Center’s latest offerings, view employment opportunities at the center, and submit employment applications online. An FAQ page answers the center’s frequently asked questions about membership, programs, and personal fitness.
DesignHub’s web development services for Chelsea Community Hospital Health & Wellness Center included planning the new site, designing its graphical user interface, editing content, programming the site, and populating its pages with content.
DesignHub works with clients on branding, websites, brochures, annual reports, newsletters, press kits, advertising, public relations, direct mail, packaging designs, and exhibit signage, as well as marketing strategies and plans.
