In this new two-hour radio show, our panel of experts will bring an inside perspective on what's going on in Lansing, with a focus on the results Michigan needs to move ahead economically and socially.

It's a lively, irreverent, informed discussion of people and problems -- touching on everything from the Michigan legislature to the race for the White House.

Meet our panelists:

Todd Cook


Todd Cook has over 15 years of experience in political affairs, crisis communication, and grassroots developments.  He is a co-founder and partner in Main Street Strategies a Lansing based advocacy firm specializing in grassroots development and political communications.

He has served as Director of Legislative Affairs for the Michigan House Democratic Leader Buzz Thomas. Cook’s other government experience includes tenures as Deputy Communications Director for Michigan House Speaker Curtis Hertel, Legislative Aide to State Senator Gary Peters, and staffer to U.S. Congressman Bob Carr.

Kerry Ebersole

Kerry Ebersole served as then-Attorney General Jennifer Granholm’s first gubernatorial campaign as Director of State Field Operations. As the Executive Director of Michigan’s Coalition for Progress, her efforts were integral in re-electing Michigan Governor Granholm and helping Democrats gain majority of the Michigan House of Representatives.

Most recently, she worked for Obama for America in Ohio and Mississippi and has served as the Midwest Regional Director for SEIU Presidential Campaign. Kerry is currently the Executive Director of Oakland Health Plan.

 John “J.T.” Truscott

John Truscott is one of the foremost experts in the area of public relations and politics in Michigan. For over a decade, John Truscott served as Director of Communications and Press Secretary to Governor John Engler of Michigan.. He was also the Communications Director for the DeVos for Governor Campaign in Michigan.

John took part in the Bush/Cheney campaign and was a member of the Bush/Cheney recount team in Florida. He was the Michigan Communications Co-Chair of the Bush re-election campaign and served as the spokesman for the Bush Cheney campaign in Michigan.

Greg McNeilly

Greg McNeilly served as the Executive Director of the Michigan Republican Party during the 2004 re-election of President Bush. Since then he has served as the Recruiting Director for the National Republican Senatorial Committee and the Campaign Manager for 2006 Michigan Republican gubernatorial candidate Dick DeVos.

While DeVos was not elected, the National Journal cited the campaign as the best-run Republican challenger that year. Greg is the CEO of Fighthard.com and the Fighthard blog, a collaborative destination for those interested in national and local politics.
