Book Cadillac Hotel Hiring 250

Detroit (WWJ)  -- Our Michigan, Our Future

The "Help Wanted" sign is going up outside Detroit's Westin Book Cadillac hotel.  The venue, on Washington Boulevard, has been undergoing renovations for the past two years, but is set to open in October.

The hotel will accept applications for 250 new jobs, ranging from servers to accountants to engineers.

"Everybody will fill out an application and we will screen them based on job experience and so on and so forth...we won't be making all of the job offers until the beginning of September," Scott Stinebaugh, director of sales and marketing at the Westin Book Cadillac Hotel, told WWJ.

Stinebaugh said some candidates could be called back before September.

The Westin Book Cadillac Detroit Recruitment Center is located at 1226 Griswold in downtown Detroit, between State and Grand River Avenue, across from Capitol Park.

The Center will be open Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The Center will close on Friday, August 29th at 3:00 p.m.
