Ann Arbor's GDI Gets New Partner

Ann Arbor-based IT integration provider GDI Infotech, Inc. Tuesday announced a partnership with Cary, N.C.-based DataFlux, a leading provider of data quality and data integration systems. GDI offers 15-plus years of IT expertise, well-established processes, and a strong consultant base, giving DataFlux expert-level services to help customers achieve their data improvement goals.

The agreement pairs DataFlux capabilities with GDI's Solutions Division, which focuses on delivering tailored services for data management, information management, data quality, customer data integration  and master data management in industries such as health care and financial services. DataFlux provides a technology backbone for these initiatives, while GDI Infotech brings the dedicated data quality expertise to help customers derive more value from their data management initiatives.

"GDI has worked with some of the largest companies in the world to help them turn corporate data into reliable, consistent information assets," said John Poonnen, Senior VP of the Solutions Division at GDI Infotech. "Through this partnership, we will link our customer base to a recognized leader in the data quality arena, allowing us to expand the capabilities of our information integration services -- and providing our clients a more immediate and durable return from their data quality investment."

DataFlux provides a premier data quality and data integration platform designed to analyze, improve, monitor and control corporate information. After some initial training on this platform for company staff, GDI Infotech can help companies extend and enhance their use of this technology and better tie the data improvement initiative to corporate goals.
