Want to know how to coach your employees more effectively, reduce your legal exposure to employee claims, and perform an effective review of your policies and procedures? Walsh College is offering a day of timely topics on Feb. 12 at its "HR Focus Workshop: Values-Based Human Capital Management." The event, which begins at 8:30 a.m., will be held at Walsh's Novi campus.
Those who attend can sign up for a variety of on topics including: how to provide constructive criticism; coaching employees for success; limiting exposure to employment-related claims; reviewing policies and procedures; hiring and retaining the best employees; new tax guidelines; and how to boost employee engagement.
Cost for the full conference is $50; cost for morning sessions only is $40. Alumni and members of partner organizations receive a 20 percent discount ($40 for the day; $32 for morning only).
