Grand Rapids, MI -- There's another major recall to tell you about this evening. Meijer has recalled about six-thousand Grand Gourmet fire pits, manufactured in Taiwan, because the legs can bend or break off while in use. This could cause the pit to tip over, posing a fire hazard. Meijer has received two reports of bowed and buckled legs, but no reports of injuries. The fire pits carry the model number FSQ279 and were sold at Meijer stores in Michigan, Ohio, Illinois, Indiana and Kentucky between September 2004 and August 2007.
If you have one of these pits, return it to Meijer for a full refund.
