Writing Less Can Take More
|
Sometimes, writing something short can be far more difficult than something longer.
One activity that can challenge both you and your child is to compose a six word memoir. All you need to do is to compress all of your life into six words, with any punctuation that you want.
Another similar activity that can interest older children and adults is to try to write the table of contents for your own biography in seven chapters. You just need descriptions of the chapters, and the events do not need to have occurred yet.
