Southfield (WWJ) -- Traffic headaches weren't hard to find Tuesday morning on Southfield Road south of Mt. Vernon Road in the city of Southfield.
Repairs to a broken water main were taking longer than first anticipated. Only one lane was open to traffic, which was backed up for at least three miles onto M-39/Southfield Freeway in Detroit.
Crews said that repairs wouldn't be completed until 6 a.m. Wednesday.
