WSU to Host Entrepreneurs' Summit

Detroit (WWJ)  -- A big conference at Wayne State University this week is designed for Metro Detroiters who dream of starting their own business.

The "E2 Detroit Entrepreneurs' Conference" is being put on by Wayne State's Tech Town -- which acts as an incubator for new business development.

Lisa Stern, founder and CEO of Big Communications, will serve as keynote speaker instead.  Big Communications is a successful Michigan-based company consistently on the INC. 500 list.  David Brandon, president and CEO of Domino's Pizza, is also expected to be there.

Director Randall Charlton told WWJ that there's no such thing as a bad idea.  "The future really is in our own hands.  We've got the ability to create new jobs to drive the economy in a new direction.  No one else is going to do it, we've got to do it ourselves," he said.

The E2 Detroit Conference is this Wednesday at Wayne State.
