Video: New Metro Airport Terminal

Detroit (WWJ)  -- Replacing the outdated Smith and Berry terminals, Detroit’s Metro Airport will open its new North Terminal in less than a month.

The North Terminal Redevelopment (NTR) Project is a planned 26-gate terminal complex, with an added Federal Inspection Station (FIS) to accommodate international flights.

An Open House for the public is planned for Sept. 6, 2008, before the terminal's grand opening Sept. 17.
