Ann Arbor (AP) -- The University of Michigan Museum of Art plans to reopen in March following a $41.9 million restoration and expansion.
The museum in Ann Arbor will hold a 24-hour public opening starting at 6 p.m. March 28. It will cap a week of events for donors, members, volunteers and University of Michigan faculty, staff and students. More details.
The project more than doubles the space available for display, temporary exhibitions, programs and education.
The museum has been operating a temporary exhibition space during construction.
