Triangles Rule: It's a Fact
|
Fact triangles can help your child learn and review addition and subtraction. You make them by cutting out a series of triangles.
The top angle of the triangle is the largest number of the three, and the other two sides have numbers that add up to that number. Kids can then practice adding numbers to get the top number, and subtracting to get one of the bottom numbers.
For older elementary students, you can also make triangles for multiplication and division. A stack of these can provide a fun, quick review of basic mathematics.
