A new website from the federal government puts information about going to college at your fingertips.
The US Department of Education’s college.gov site includes information on admissions and financial aid, and is designed for kids who may be first in their family to attend college.
The site includes sections on why go to college, how to go to college, and how to pay for it. You can create your own college roadmap on the site, including where you want to go to college, and includes checklists for each year of high school of things you should be doing to get there.
This site even allows you to make college.gov your friend on Facebook.
