Dearborn Heights (WWJ) -- Telegraph Road in Dearborn Heights was shutdown for a short period of time Thursday afternoon after a man brought a suspicious device into a fire station.
WWJ's Matt Roush reports a fire inspector said a man from Inkster brought some type of cylinder into the fire house around 3 p.m. The man had found the device while fishing in the Detroit River Wednesday.
Fire officials didn't know what it was and evacuated the fire station as a precaution.
Telegraph was shutdown between Michigan Avenue and Annapolis Roads while the bomb squad handled the cylinder.
