Suspected Bank Robber Claims to Be Hoffa Relative

Uniontown, PA (AP)  -- A man who claims to be related to missing Teamsters leader Jimmy Hoffa has been sentenced to nearly 10 years in prison for robbing a bank in western Pennsylvania.

A federal judge also ordered 48-year-old William James Hoffa Jr. of Uniontown to repay $1,500.  He was arrested because his planned getaway driver was a government informant.

The FBI was waiting for Hoffa when he showed up to rob the bank, about 45 miles south of Pittsburgh.
