Hughes telematics appoints new exec: Atlanta-based Hughes Telematics announced Thursday that Anne Marie Marx has been appointed senior director of product launch. In this position, Marx will work alongside the company's automotive partners in launching its telematics solutions into the marketplace. Marx previously led program management activities in business and service development for OnStar. She was instrumental in preparing OnStar to launch in Shanghai, China while supporting other global regional launch assessments. During her OnStar tenure, Marx also was responsible for the successful integration and launch of OnStar across multiple product lines for General Motors. Marx earned a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Detroit and a master of science degree in engineering and technology management from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
