American Laser Centers gets new CIO: Farmington Hills-based American Laser Centers has named Christopher Eagle as its CIO. Eagle will be responsible for reshaping the enterprise's physical infrastructure and network access, rebuilding and relaunching the company's consumer Web site, www.americanlaser.com, and identifying and developing the capability to use new IT tools. Eagle was previously director of e-commerce systems and director of retail systems at Ann Arbor-based Borders Groiup Inc. He managed the creation of Borders' new consumer Web site. A Michigan native, Eagle is a past recipient of Crain's 40 Under 40 award and is a former United States amateur chess champion.
