Spectrum Gets New Talent Management Software

St. Paul, Minn.-based Lawson Software (NASDAQ: LWSN) announced Tuesday that Grand Rapids-based Spectrum Health is the first health care organization to select the new Lawson Talent Management Suite.

Spectrum Health will use the Lawson system to help simplify talent acquisition, provide an improved candidate experience and automate compensation processes through a single, integrated system.

Lawson Talent Management combines a global core human resources system with strategic human capital management, including new functionality to help companies manage talent acquisition, incentive compensation, employee performance, learning and development, and succession planning.

Spectrum Health is the largest not-for-profit health system in West Michigan. The health care organization, which includes more than 2,000 beds across its network of seven hospitals, is also the largest employer in the region, managing an annual volume of nearly 200,000 employment applications. Spectrum has been a Lawson customer for eight years and currently uses Lawson solutions for human resources, financial, procurement and supply chain management.

Lawson Talent Management will help Spectrum Health become more strategic about its hiring and overall talent management activities. The solution is designed to offer a simpler, more streamlined application process via Spectrum Health’s website to help improve information management, reduce hiring time, and deliver a better experience for online applicants. It will also more closely tie individual benchmarks and performance to organizational objectives and help improve efficiencies for HR staff.

Lawson Software provides software and services to 4,000 customers in manufacturing, distribution, maintenance and service sector industries across 40 countries.

Lawson's solutions include enterprise performance management, supply chain management, enterprise resource planning, customer relationship management, manufacturing resource planning, enterprise asset management and industry-tailored applications.
