Solving The Mystery

If your kids love reading mystery stories, but have trouble keeping track of all the details, the website Read Write Think may have the answer for you – a mystery cube.

Kids can type in the characters, setting, crime, suspects, clues and answer to their mystery, then print it out. Using scissors and tape, they can then make a cube that summarizes the story for them.

This will introduce them to the elements found in every mystery story, and even serve as notes in case they need to study for a test on the book.
