Scrapbooking Your Summer

Save those summer memories! Make a summer scrapbook with your preschooler.

Take photos, draw pictures, and collect pieces of summer like flowers or leaves. Help your child paste these items into an album.

Then, ask your child to tell you about the place where you gathered the items:  why you were there, what you were doing, or what they liked about the day. Jot down the stories and memories that they tell, capturing their exact words as much as possible.

Add the finished scrapbook to your bookshelf and come back to it to recapture summer during the cold days of winter!
