In a move designed to provide the more than seven million Americans struggling with infertility a more affordable at-home option, Conceivex Inc. Thursday announced that the company has launched a retail distribution program with DesignRxclusive LLC (www.designrx.net) that will enable people to purchase the Conception Kit, which was formerly only available online, at participating pharmacies throughout the United States.
Cleared by the FDA in March 2007, the Conceivex Conception Kit is the first comprehensive fertility enhancement system designed for couples to use in the privacy of their own home without drugs or invasive procedures. The Kit is a safe, private, easy-to-use and affordable system that can dramatically increase a couple’s chance of conceiving. Since its inception in 2007, Conceivex has assisted thousands of couples with their reproductive goals.
Under terms of the new agreement, the Conception Kit will be available for purchase with a prescription at more than 50 DesignRxclusive participating specialty pharmacies nationwide beginning in October. The DesignRxclusive Pharmacy Network is comprised of specialty pharmacies that deliver high tech/high touch pharmacy care to patients requiring specialty pharmaceutical therapies.
“The DesignRx/DesignRxclusive distribution agreement represents a significant corporate milestone for Conceivex, marking the first time people can conveniently purchase the Conception Kit offline at participating local pharmacies,” said Phil Mansour, executive vice president - development of Conceivex, Inc. “We looked closely for the ideal partner who shares our dedication to providing consumers with the most cost-effective fertility solutions available. We’re confident that DesignRxclusive will help us take this product to the next level.”
The Conception Kit is a comprehensive three-month system that helps couples conceive in the privacy of home. This FDA-cleared reproductive system goes beyond ovulation timing by concentrating all available sperm in direct contact with the cervix for four to six hours. Placing the sperm at the cervical opening increases the opportunity for sperm to move into the uterine cavity and fertilize an egg. Each element of the kit works together to address the more common male and female issues that interfere with conception, including low sperm count, reduced sperm motility, a tilted cervix, timing ovulation, a hostile vaginal environment and a couple’s position during sex.
The Conception Kit is $299.95.
