Same Repetition, New Twist
|
One difference between the math curriculum that your children have and the one that you may have had a decade ago is the amount of drill and practice.
More recent math curricula may spiral to a topic each year, reminding students what they have learned. However, many students need more practice in basic skills. Luckily, this does not need to be rows of numbers on a worksheet.
Software for handheld devices such as Math drills allows students to practice their addition, multiplication and division with practice problems, and also provide hints and a number line.
