Okemos-based Netvantage Marketing is offering the opportunity for a non-profit organization to benefit from its search engine optimization and Web analytics services.
The idea was spawned from a desire to reach out and build awareness for the non profit sector on methods to use online marketing as a communication tool to build interest in their organizations.
Interested organizations or those willing to nominate an organization can learn more and find the application form on the Netvantage Web site at http://netvantagemarketing.com/nonprofit.
The winning submission will receive six months of search engine optimization services and Web analytics. Services provided to the winner will include keyword selection, link building, article writing and submission, and coding recommendations. Additionally, Netvantage will perform free Web analytics consulting to help the organization better understand how their site is working, and what can be done to improve its performance.
The company's managing partners, Joe Ford and Adam Henige, are both graduates of Michigan State University, and participated in several charitable causes while involved with the university. In 2005, both helped Michigan State collect more than 200,000 pounds of food for the annual MBA Food Fight, a contest held between 20 different MBA programs in conjunction with non profit sponsor Second Harvest to provide hunger relief across the country. That experience has driven the business owners to explore new opportunities to give back.
The deadline for entry is midnight on Aug. 15. The winner will be chosen by the entrant’s ability to articulate the impact this effort will have on the organization’s mission. The winner will be announced Monday, Sept. 1. All Michigan based 501(c)(3) organizations are eligible to apply. For more information or to apply to this contest, those interested can also call (517) 853-5838.
