Rock Financial No Longer Major Pistons Sponsor

Quicken Loans' Rock Financial reportedly pulling out as a Detroit Pistons major sponsor.  According to a report in Crain's Detroit Business, Quicken Loans owner, Dan Gilbert has ended their five year run as presenting sponsor.  In the article, a spokesperson says Quicken Loans has a national NBA sports presence through their relationship with the Cleveland Cavaliers and Quicken Loans Arena.   They say Rock Financial is a local brand, and it makes more sense to channel their marketing attention toward national Quicken Loans platform.

Gilbert, a Michigan native bought the Cavaliers for $375 million 3-years ago, and the team plays at downtown Cleveland’s Quicken Loans Arena
