Southfield (WWJ) -- Storms that marched across Michigan Wednesday night left nearly 200,000 homes and businesses without power. Some areas received more than 4 inches of rain.
Early Thursday morning, Consumers Energy says about 156,000 of their customers have no electricity, while another 25,000 DTE customers are in that same situation.
A spokesperson for DTE Energy says most of the outages are in Washtenaw County.
In addition to power outages, local authorities reported uprooted trees and flooded streets.
The National Weather Service issued a Flood Warning for small streams in Lenawee County Thursday morning.
