Pedal for Power Challenge -- Get Involved!

Get involoved in WWJ's Winter Survival Radioton for THAW!

On February 5 – 6, 2010 at the MGM Grand Detroit, we invite you to join forces with WWJ Newsradio 950 in a unique effort to support THAW through the Pedal for Power Challenge.

The goal of the Pedal for Power Challenge is to keep the “Beacon of Warmth”, a giant light bulb, shining brightly during the entire 31 hours of the Radiothon.  Riders must continuously pedal stationary bikes in order to keep the light on!  We are looking for bike clubs and bikers in general to volunteer their time in one hour shifts to not only pedal on the stationary bikes, but to solicit donations from friends and family to support them in this effort.

A $100 Gift Certificate to Continental Bike Shop in Hazel Park will be awarded to the top 3 Bike Clubs or solo bikers who generate the most donations for the Pedal for Power Challenge.

Please consider donating your time and effort to this challenge.  You will have the opportunity to have some fun, burn off some calories and help raise funds for members of your community all at the same time!

To sign up for your one hour time slot, please go to www.signupgenius.com/go/2010
