I've loved radio for as long as I can remember. It's all I ever wanted to do, and realized my dream in 1974 when I began my broadcasting career at WPON, Pontiac, as a general assignment reporter and afternoon anchor. From there, I moved to WCAR, Detroit, as a reporter/anchor and remained on staff when the station became WCXI (anyone remember "Country 11?")
In 1982, I joined WWJ Newsradio 950 as a reporter and weekend anchor. Since 1990, I have been WWJ's evening anchor, on-air 7:00 p.m. - midnight Monday through Friday. After all these years, I still enjoy what I do, communicating with listeners and letting you know what's going on in the world. It's the perfect job for me!
Summer is my time of year--the hotter the better. I really enjoy bicycling, running and being outdoors. Ialso live movies, all kinds of music and sports, especially baseball and hockey. My wife and I have four children and two grandkids. We live in western Wayne county.
Thanks for listening.
