New iPhone Ad Platform From Ann Arbor Firm

Ann Arbor-based Boomdash LLC Monday announced the release of its digital media advertising platform that will display mobile-aware landing pages specifically formatted for the iPhone when customers search and click on Boomdash-powered ads.

The recent announcement from Google allowing advertisers to tailor ads for mobile devices like the iPhone 3G and T-Mobile’s G1 means that many local businesses can more easily place paid ads on Google that will appear during searches being done by mobile users.

That announcement, however, neglects to address the fact that many local businesses don’t have Web sites or if they do, their Web site contains too much information to easily be navigated by mobile users. Boomdash’s digital media advertising platform automatically generates iPhone compatible landing pages for advertisers when their ads appear. Thus, Boomdash is leveling the playing field for local businesses.

“We are very excited about this new release and its ability to seamlessly enable existing and future Boomdash customers to be found and contacted by mobile users,” said Doug Neal, CEO and co-founder of Boomdash. “Our iPhone compatible landing pages are automatically generated and designed to drive conversions and, more importantly, phone calls to our advertisers.”

Boomdash Reach enables businesses to create, manage and publish online ads with major Internet search engines based on a monthly budget they establish. Additionally, Boomdash Reach includes a proprietary ad optimization tool that monitors performance and automatically makes adjustments to the ad, creating a more effective marketing campaign.

Boomdash Go creates a dynamic Web presence for small businesses whether or not they already have a Web site. Specifically, Boomdash Go includes a click-to-call button that enables potential customers to easily make a phone call to the business with the click of a mouse. In addition, Boomdash Go offers a mobile coupon system that sends promotional coupons directly to the customer’s mobile phone.

Boomdash offers its Boomdash Reach and Go solution exclusively through the sales channel small businesses value and trust -- independent local yellow page directory publishers. This benefits both sides by allowing local businesses to work with a partner they already know and trust while helping local publishers build new revenue.
