Math Pays Off!

When your kids ask you why studying mathematics is important in school, you may want to point them to a recently released list of the 15 highest paid college majors.
Topping the list was petroleum engineering, and 12 of the group are in engineering fields, demanding high levels of math proficiency. Two of the other majors, computer science and actuarial science, also require solid knowledge of mathematics.
So while math class may seem boring to some kids in high school, help them to seet that in less than a decade it can help lead to a significantly higher paycheck.
