Learn From Wikipedea

While many teachers despair when students hand in work that cites Wikipedia, helping your child understand how a Wiki works can help them better understand the research process.
Wikis are authored by a wide variety of people, and anyone can add and edit text for many Wikis.
Help your child understand that while Wikipedia may provide a good overview of a topic, or give leads for further research, it is not a good source of information, as it can change at any time when a new user rewrites the entry.
