King Tut's Exhibit
|
Archaeology is the science of how we learn about past objects. While few written records remain, we can use analysis of objects and materials to make mute objects speak.
A great archeology exhibit to show your children is Tutankhamun, on display at the Charles H. Wright museum of African American history. Featuring over 100 exact replicas, the exhibit includes Tutankhamun’s chariot, thrones, jewelry and his royal mummy.
King Tut’s original items, too worn for display, ignited interest in Egypt while the replicas toured America many decades ago. The replicas may spark an interest in you and your children as well.
