Hit The Street On The Web
|
Web sites have become an important way that children receive information, even down into the preschool years.
Sesame Street, the children’s television classic, has posted its material on ITunes, YouTube and Hulu, in order to reach more families through the Internet.
Sesame Street has included older episodes in its digital offerings, so you may be able to share some of your earliest learning moments with your child. Children’s television shows such as SuperWhy have created interactive websites for kids, using online episodes, crafts and games to teach kids reading and writing skills.
While younger children should have time limits placed on their internet use, the educational content being offered to families is getting better and better.
