Great Science For Kids

If you are looking for a day of interactive science and technology activities, the Detroit Science Center may have what you are looking for.

Recent additions include a rocket, built to scale, that towers over two stories of the center. They are cut-a-way to let kids see how the rockets are launched and controlled. The rocket section includes a chance to feel what it is like during liftoff, and to make your own rocket.

After lunch, the center includes activities called “working it off” where you learn how much exercise it takes to burn off the food you eat everyday.
