Free Calls Through May For Charter Phone Customers

Charter Communications Inc. (NASDAQ: CHTR) announced last week that for the entire month of May family and friends can make free long distance calls from all 50 States to residential Charter Telephone customers subscribing to Charter’s Unlimited Long Distance Package.

“We are pleased to help Charter Telephone customers keep in touch with family and friends during this special holiday,” said Joe Boullion, Charter’s vice president and general manager. “We estimate our one-million-plus Charter Telephone customers save approximately $150 million each year over the service provided by traditional phone companies.”

Family and friends can call Charter Telephone customers for free during the entire month of May. Family and friends can dial (800) 584-2281, a free call for them; they will be prompted to enter the Charter Telephone customer’s number; they will then be connected and can talk as long as they want -- for free. Visit www.charter.com/freecalls for more information.
