There are many different areas to study in science and are each labeled with the suffix -ology.
The American Museum of Natural History has created a website where kids can learn about all the different -ologies using the Internet. Each area of study, such as archaeology, biology or paleontology has its own set of definitions, games and activities.
The Museum even has -ology cards your child can collect over 300 different images on the computer.
So, if your not going New York to visit the giant Blue Whale at the American Museum of Natural History soon, visit their website to keep track of all the different paths the study of science can take you.
